| I knitted my first dog sweater! What do you think? I can never just sit down and do nothing so I decided I needed another hobby that I could do while I sit on the couch next to my husband spending "quality time" together and watching our tv shows (I call it quality time but my husband is always playing computer games on his laptop ). So I started knitting! I used to do it when I was younger but its been years since Ive knitted. I really love that soft furry yarn so I made Chloe a sweater and matchign scarf. This first sweater took me awhile but Ive already started a second sweater and this is so much fun. I dont have a pattern or anything, Im just sort of making it up as I go. So what do you think? I went sleeveless for this sweater, do you think I should do sleeves on my next one? Please be honest, Im learning and would love any ideas. (in the last picture chloe's like "mom, seriously, you want me to wear a SCARF in Texas?" )

| Wow! You did a great job on that sweater - I like the green. I think sleeves would look good on the sweater. At first I thought the scarf was the sleeve (DOH!!)

| I love the sweater, you did a great job!! Wow and you didn't even have a pattern. You are doing far better than me. I am "trying" to learn how to knit. I have all the materials needed, I even have a pattern for a dog sweater. I also have a book that tells me how to do it. I haven't gotten anywhere, one of these days I'll get the hang of it, I just don't quite understand a couple of things it says to do. You did a great job on the sweater, you are very talented, maybe someday I will finally figure out how to make one too, lol.

| I can't believe that is the first one you made. You are really talented! I like both, with and without sleeves, so I'd like it either way.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Dang, Shana, that's awesome. I couldn't knit a shoelace for a toddler. I think it looks great w/o sleeves on Chloe.
