I got Bentley a kong... Well I just got Bentley a puppy kong and I got the peanut butter kong stuffing to go inside. At first he was afraid of it but I showed him how the peanut butter comes and now he's lickin it. How long does it take them to start like chewing it lol. I guess he'll start liking it, atleast I hope or that will be another thing to add to my list of things he doesnt like! So I;ll let ya all know but I was just wondering how long it took your puppies to start chewing it and stuff.

Lucy loves her kong! We got it for her when she was about 6mths old and put some cheese in it and she licked it out, we did that a couple of times and now she doesn't put it down even if it doesnt have anything in it!

My chihuahua (1 year old) does not chew hers.....ever. I freeze the kong and stuff in it....she will lick and lick for hours. Lil Bit ( 6 months) likes to lick her kong forever...but I have noticed her occasionally chewing it.... As long as they are happy and content and QUIET just licking I am happy!

A trainer told me to soak the Kong in chicken broth for a couple of days and that Sophie would start chewing on it. I worry about it developing a bacteria from the broth, so I've not tried that yet. I'm not quite up to Monk's level, but I do worry about germs a lot.
