| The Vet just called. She just finished up and he is sitting up but still very groggy. He had 14 teeth removed Poor little guy (and my poor credit card ). She said most were about to pop out anyway because his gums were so receeded so they were simple extractions. She says I can call at 8 and see if he is able to go home yet. SHe is sending home some pain meds for him. I'm setting up a playpen by my bed tonight for him. It's so sad he had to go through this as it could have been prevented if only his first owner knew to brush his teeth. Please remember to brush your furbabies teeth it only takes a minute... |

| Ohhh Jodi!!! I was at the dentist today too! But not having nearly the time Gizmo was having!!! OMGosh! I am sooo Sorry! And your soooooo Right about brushing!!! Wet food is really to blame if you get down to the nitty gritty... if your going to feed wet food, yes Brush Brush Brush!!!! But our Babies need Kibble to keep those teeth and gums healthy too!!! But even with Kibble they need to be BRUSHED!!! I feel soooo bad for him.... Not that I could have done a damned thing in the six months that I had him... my vet did not want to go there after we flew him across the US and gave him a ton of shots! We wanted to give him a chance to get settled before we attacked his mouth, which we knew was a problem... I hope his is ok tonight! I will be checking all evening waiting to hear!!! Kathryn

| He's home finally, he stayed a little longer at the vet because he took a little longer to come around. He just ate a little mushie food and pooped. So I think we're ok The girls are happy to see him. WHEW, I am so glad we made it through this and can put this behind of us! I can't believe how white his remaining teeth are! And I got my very first fresh breath kiss He is such a lovie. |

| He's seems to be very good. He had a rough night, I think his throat hurts, he coughed and gagged all night. He can't bark and he kinda does a little whiney sound when he normally would "talk" to me. I gave him his pain meds and antibiotics this morning and he's a very kissy little boy right now. He sooo needs a bath, he has gunk all over him that I'm not sure what it is... |
