| Foamy Drool? Hi! Twice in the last month my 2 year old Molly has had an episode of foaming drool that last about 10 minutes. I can soak a hole half sheet of paper towel wiping her chin. The first time, I had given her a little bit of vanilla ice cream and thought maybe her tongue had frozen(!), but she did it again this morning. She seems fine otherwise. Any idea what causes this? Thank you! |

| drool? Hey, she doesnt have access to any frogs does she? Maybe when she goes to pottie?? Frogs have a secretion that is a defense mechanism; it makes dogs drool badley for a while. Sounds similar to what you are describing. |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Wow, I've never heard of this before! Maybe like someone else said...she may have gotten a hold of a frog or something? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It SOUNDS like she's eating something possibly toxic ... ....and dalexa is right - frogs and toads WILL do this - but I would def look ALL AROUND to see if she's chewing on something and even better - CALL YOUR VET to see if he thinks this is abnormal - my girls have never done that except for the time Chanel tried to play with a toad - now I'm out there with them and throw those creatures before the girls can try to grab one... you haven't seen any seizures right ??? |

| No shaking, no staring and she's mostly an inside dog. Outside is only in our screened concrete pool area on the weekends. She acts perfectly normal while it is happening until I pick her up. Running around as usual. She's very active! |

The reason I ask this, is because we recently added a Yorkie baby to our family and our DD recently got her own townhouse and moved. My poor Jazzy girl was so upset over both events, she kep drooling -big time. After 2 days of this constant drooling, Jazzy saw that she was still "top dog", and then she was fine. Now, Jazzy loves her new Yorkie baby sister, and although she misses her human sister--she has gotten used to her no longer living here. | |

| Hi, let me know if you hear anything about this. One of my girls does that occasionally, it is kinda scary!! I informed my vet of this and he said that if she does it after eating it could be a big problem...I forgot what he called it...sorry. Hopefully they will be fine and are just droolers! |

| Mine drools and foams at the mouth only when in the car or on his carrier. He has terrible motion sickness. He will drool so much I have to bathe him afterwards. Could your baby have motion sickness?
