![]() When my yorkies were pups, they used to follow me around. Now that they are all grown up none of them follow me. You think having 3 yorkies at least one will follow me around like a shadow but no such luck.

![]() Isn't this board fabulous? To hear that so many others experience the same things you do on a daily basis is so comforting. I have a shadow too...and when I leave the house for a few minutes he acts like he hasn't seen me in years when I walk back in. I have had many other breed dogs through out my life but I have never ever experienced the love I do with this little guy. When my husband got him and paid so much money for him I thought he was out of his mind and now I wouldn't give him up for any amount of money in this world

![]() Kodah has access to only two rooms of our house - the kitchen & family room. She is so different from our yorkie we had for 15 1/2 years - she will stay in bed when I walk past her & either stay asleep or go back to sleep. Mocha used to follow me everywhere & I use to feel so guilty because I felt like I just wore her out because I'm not a sit too long/in one place kind of person. Kodah will come & sit at my feet if she wants to be held, & once she is asleep I can put her in her bed & she stays. She is definetely more independent than our other (but she is also only 15 weeks old - so that may change!).

I have 2 Shadows Artie follows me every where and he has "Seperation Anxiety" he is full grown @ 1 yr. and 5 months, it was worse when he was younger and I expected him to grow out of it by now? ![]() Abigail follows Artie every where so now I have 2 Shadows and she has "Separation Anxiety" with him, they are inseperable! I have no privacy at all in the bathroom, even when I am brushing my teeth they both jump up and stand to lick the toothpaste while I'm brushing. Sounds weird, and looks even worse.....my husband is amazed, that I allow them all access to my home life and daily routines. ![]()

![]() Thank goodness I live alone! I can't remember the last time I went to the bathroom or took a shower with the door closed. I accidentally closed it one day a long, long time ago and it sounded like the end of their world! They go everywhere I go all the time! But I love it and couldn't imagine turning around and not having 2 furry faces staring at me wondering what I'm doing!

![]() Yeah,.. actually I feel like Fred's shadow! He will run ahead and then constantly look back to see where I go! If he goes into my room, and I go into the bathroom.. when he looks back, he'll turn around and start running before I shut the door! He'll sit there and watch while I brush my teeth! Sometimes when he looks back, he bonks his head on the laundryroom door! ![]()

| ![]() Stewie used to follow me around all the time, but now he just looks at me while I walk away. If I am gone more than a couple minutes, he comes looking. I like it that way. I wouldn't be able to stand it if he were constantly under my feet.
