| carrier trick anyone? Today I got this beautiful Juicy couture carrier for Bella, but unfortunately she is not that enthusiastic about it... I tried to temt her to go in by putting some treats in there, but she just snapped the treat and rushed right out again. Has anyone had a similar experience? I want her to love that bag as much as I do

| This is what I do.... I put Sophie in the carrier and then immediately stand up and start walking around. When she feels the movement she realizes that something is going on and then she is too busy trying to figure out what that something is and looking out to care that she is in the carrier. Hope that helps!

| It takes a little time for them t get used to a carrier, its like getting them used to clothing, bows etc. When I got Jess her carrier she was about 12 weeks old.We left the carrier (a bali2) on the floor open at first and let her sniff at it,sit by it and look inside it etc. Then we left treats inside and let her go in..We never touched it whilst she was in it at first, neither did we close it,we just wanted her to get used to it.A few days later we left it on the floor again but closed and she would hop inside and go to sleep It was like a little refuge for her. After about 3 days we started picking it up and walking around the house and she was fine Just introduce it to your baby slowly..DONT put her in it straight away and expect her to love it at first,if you do that she will probably just try to jump out and wont go near it again. Its best to leave it on the floor open at first then closed..soon they jump in and end up liking it Its like a little doggy house for them |

| I bought a cheap carrier, which is pretty ugly but I wanted to make sure Milo would use it before I spent any money on a cute one. Plus he's still a puppy and I don't know how big he'll be full grown. We so far haven't had much luck but I'm still trying. I usually end up carring him and the 'purse'.

| I totally agree with Gina. My Sophie is 6mths old and she loves her bag. I leave it on the floor open all the time. She takes at least one nap a day in it and sometimes more. I take it inside with us when we visit people and it seems to give her security. I also put some of her toys in it at first. Now she does that herself. Sophie's mom |

| I left the carrier with Bella and she has been "exploring" it a bit this afternoon. Hopefully this will work

| Gina and Sophie's mom do what I do. It is open and on the floor and they play in it. They love it. |

| I also leave mine out so Bridget and Xander will know what it is. The result is they love it, and if I head for it and pick it up they literally will jump in and be like we are ready to go mom!

| Thanks a lot to all of you! Bella is getting more used to her bag now, and I got a picture of her in it. I posted it in the gallery. Just wanted to share, I think she's so adorable
