| Actually my voice of reason has been replaced by the little message in my head that says, "Wouldn't a tiny Maltese just be the cutest thing ever. Little Bit really needs someone to play with. I'm getting older, if I don't get a Maltese now I may never have one." But then the Voice of Reason comes back and says, "You've been married for 40 yrs, do you really want a divorce at this stage of life?" Ummm, let me think. No, no thinking is what got me into this. Back away from the Maltese@ Quote:

| I have a little girl named Lucy. After 2 months, I wanted a little boy. I found one, but messed around and let him get away from me. Now I have a little guy named Rebel and I'm so glad I have two! Lucy is a little jealous, but then she turns around and mothers him. Make plans now and put her at the top of your list!

| My husband asked me not to "take care" of my friends yorkies anymore because they never went home. lol I finally placed two with my friend after I house trained them and took my time spoiling them. Then I took care of Me-Me who has PDA and called my friend on her vacation and told her she'd have to pry her out of my cold dead hands. I fell so in love with her. I didn't care if she might need heart sergury. She just fit in my arms so much. My friend laughed and said "happy birthday", she's yours. The funniest time was when I walked in with Harry, who was a hairless chinese crested and had almost no hair. Perfect name for him. lol

| You should go for it. And just be extra nice to hubby. Bet he falls in love with the new pup. Bring her to visit him first.

| Well, it gets worse...yesterday I found a little Biewer girl that I want. I looked at the Yorkies a few days ago and they were adorable, as usual, but after holding each one of them (twice) I didn't get that 'take me home' feeling with any of them. Hubby said I can have the Biewer when I win the lottery so I bought a ticket last night and won...$1.00. He never said I had to win the whole amount he just said I had to win...so, by a technicality and omission of specific rules I should get my Biewer girl...right?? |
