| ![]() I have a solid plastic one, no wood. It's pretty thick. I don't see how they could chew on it, maybe try one like that. I think K-mart and walmart have them. Unfortunately for me Alphy can hurdle anything.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() I use to have a baby gate but Bengi started to climb it. Then I taped a part of a box on the wire so he would climb it, but he learned how to jump it. Now I use a piece of wood, like a thin plywood, so now he can't jump or climb it; but i'm telling you, that piece of wood is as tall as the kitchen sink! |

| ![]() I had a terrier mix before Buddy for 16yrs. When he was a puppy he ate through a wood rung gate. How he did not have splinters all over his gums was just amazing! This time I bought a solid plastic one for a child. It has holes in it but a solid front. I had to use two because Buddy jumped one. ![]() |

| ![]() Mine can climb 2 puppy gates stack on top of each other. He is a master climber. Nothing stops him. Even when we went to daycare and puts him in the playpen with other dogs, he would manage to climb out when none other puppies and dogs could other than a Greyhound who jumps in and out as he pleases...that is totally a whole different story. Try those extra tall puppy gates which are very sturdy and nothing could be chewed off but the one I saw, they cost about $50+ but you only need one and do not have to worry about vet fees in case your puppy chewed something off and needed a vet visit. We had discussed this topic before and I provide you the link. Hope it helps ![]() http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=puppy+gate A link to the picture of a sturdy gate that can be found in the other discussion link: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...sin=B0000DEW91
