Mine can climb 2 puppy gates stack on top of each other. He is a master climber. Nothing stops him. Even when we went to daycare and puts him in the playpen with other dogs, he would manage to climb out when none other puppies and dogs could other than a Greyhound who jumps in and out as he pleases...that is totally a whole different story. Try those extra tall puppy gates which are very sturdy and nothing could be chewed off but the one I saw, they cost about $50+ but you only need one and do not have to worry about vet fees in case your puppy chewed something off and needed a vet visit. We had discussed this topic before and I provide you the link. Hope it helps
