| Growing up to Fast! Ritzie Britches will be 8 months in about a week. I don't have any children yet, so of course Ritzie is my baby. She is growing up way to fast. She is has just started her first cycle and I feel she is no longer my little puppy. She is getting to be a big girl. Almost like having a daughter who is no longer a little girl anymore, can anyone relate? Just thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else felt the same way when their little girl started her first cycle. |

| Ritzie is a cutie! We have two boys, but yeah, they seem like they grow up way too fast! It just seemed like yesterday that we brought them home from the breeders! Just appreciate every day they are with us! |

| Ritzie is adorable!! They do grow up way to fast, i wish they could be puppies for a long time LOL Yes i know what you mean, when they get their first heat cycle they seem all grown up, but the nice thing about yorkies i find, is that they always keep that "baby" in them.

| Thanks yall for the replies and the compliments on my little girl. She is cute but does have a little attitude. She does not like to be told NO! She will bark back at you when you try and discipline her. But when she knows she did something really bad and I catch her she will run and hide under the bed. She has such a cute personality. I have noticed since she has been on her cycle she is alot calmer and is ready for bed at night earlier than normal. She loves to bite at our hands while playing but I have noticed she hasn't done that since her cycle started. That I don't mind if she grows out of. |

| When my Boy raised his leg to pee for the first time I felt he was growing up too fast and not my baby anymore. But of course he is still my baby and always will be. And yes, your girl is a cutie.

Yes I noticed the boobies too! This is my first little girl to not have spayed. So this is all new for me. My first yorkie (Gidget) we had spayed and you could see he boobies but they were flat like her skin. So I started noticing Ritzie's getting bigger about a week or so before, then the night before last I was rubbing her belly and wow. I had been kinda watching her wondering if she was going to be coming in the next few months, then I noticed a couple of blood spots on our sheet and thought maybe she just lost a tooth, since she has been loosing her baby teeth. Well a day or two later she finally swelled up, and that is when I realized she wasn't a baby anymore. But I have to agree with everyone she will always be a baby to me. | |
