| Why so late? We recently got Bella and she was 4 1/2 months when we got her from the breeder, we have taken her to the vet and everything is good with her, he said she is healthy and a good dog, but we were just wondering why the breeder would have waited so long to sell the puppies. When we went to look at her there was Bella and her sister, of course we wanted Bella, her sister was sold that same week as well. My husband and I were just curious and is that a normal time frame? |

| Sometimes breeders keep puppies longer to judge if they are show quality. It takes a while for the pup to develop what the breeder is looking for. It is always better to keep yorkies a little longer anyway, they are often so small. I bet your new baby is a doll.

| I never sell my puppies before they are 6 or 7 months . I take time to give them good socialization . After they have all their shots , I get them used to all kind of situations as example , going for car rides , bus , metro , groomer etc etc . They only leave my house when they are spayed or neutered , for show prospects , I go to few dogshows with them because It would not be fair to the new owners to have a puppy without show experiences . |
