Help! My yorkie puppies are eating the walls! Oh my gosh! I have two yorkie puppies and their diet consists of drywall and carpet, and puppy pads! I dont know what to do! Training has been a joke. The moment I think they have it down, I turn around and one is either peeing or pooing off of the pad! Im thinking of getting them a pen and leaving them in there while I am at work! Any advice??

| I have no advice just wanted to let you know I have two puppies too and feel your pain. They are both carpet eaters and my older puppy is a major cord eater. He chewed up all the cords to our xbox. Many of my daughters barbies have no feet. He knows hes not supposed to so he hides when he does it!!!!

I can't say enough how much you will love an x-pen if you get one. Enough room to leave them safely with food, water, bed/crate, pads for potty. Plus no need to replace the carpet or walls.

LOL... Leila was a wall eater too. And not corners either, oh no, that was too easy for her. She wanted to gnaw the middle of the walls! There are several places where I am going to have to do repairs when I move. Bitter apple didn't even deter her!

My youngest, Jake loved to eat the base boards until we had his last baby teeth pulled. Imagine having a house that is one year old and all the base boards having to be changed.

Exercise Pen We bought Maggie an exercise pen. Purchased it at Petsmart. Also purchased a water and food dish that attached to the wall of the pen. That way the water and food didn't get knocked over. We use ours outside, mainly for protection against hawks when we don't have her right beside us on her leash.

Both mine were eating the wall and the sides of furniture, I bought bitter apple but that didnt work. Then someone gave me advice and told me to rub a little bit of clear deoderant on the edge of there they are most likely to bite again, so I did and they havent bit anything since!

Gyesso, I feel your pain about the new house. I got two Yorkie brothers and our family room will need the carpet to be replaced. I left them to run free in the family room when I was gone and that was a BIG mistake. They ate two holes in the wall, chewed on the tv stand and made a hole in carpet. I now pen them up when I am not home. They don't seem to mind and it protects my house. I bought two plastic pens from Petco and attached them so that they would have lots of room to roam. I also placed a wheat cat litter box so they could go when they wanted.

| Tucker's been eating walls too!!! He eats everything I don't know what to do. Plus, now he's got Biddy doing it! Biddy never chewed anything until we got Tucker, now they've ruined a chair, pulled up a floor tile & took a chunk out of a wall. Tuck's a bad influence!

Cc Do you have a pic of this X-Pen or a website where I can view them. I need to get Beau out of his huge kennel with more room to romp during the day.
