| Biting Toe Nails Our littlest pup has been chewing on her nails. It's not really swollen or bad looking, but she is constantly licking and nibbling on her nails. Have yall ever herard of this, any solution ideas?? I'm so glad I found a board of yorkie lovers and I appreciate all of your responses. |

| The only time I've heard of dogs chewing at their nails is if they are too long. Check to see if they need to be cut. If they're too long, it can be uncomfortable for them to walk. My vet said a good way to judge is if you can hear them clicking on the floor - if you can, it's time for little trim.

| Nail Biting My Roxie chews and licks her feet when she's nervous or upset. In fact when she was pregnant she made the hair on her front paws so short you could see her nails. Same thing? Has there been a change in your household lately? |
