| Help!! flakes in hair Hi everyone! Boy I'm having fun on here tonight, LOL! I never have this much free time but tonight I do and I'm enjoying every moment My one yorkie Trixie has flakes in her hair and itches a good bit. No fleas just dry skin and I'm starting to think allergies?? Her skin is just so dry and I've tried several different shampoos and she eats nutro max but nothing has helped. The vet even gave me these 3V oil type caps to try. Getting her to take them was a nightmare and I gave up. She would run from me, throw them back up if I managed to get one down so I just stopped trying. Anyways, I heard of Petsilk working wonders and thought I'd ask you guys about it. I looked petsilk up but they carry different stuff. So if anyone uses their products could you please tell me which shampoo and conditioner you use? I saw they have deep clean, oatmeal type and moisturising one?? I don't want to order the wrong one, LOL!! Thanks |

| I have never used petsilk but i am ordering it when my shampoo and conditioner runs out. I would definitely get the oatmeal shampoo that is good for dry skin. Another thing you could do is to try Missing Link. It has omega fatty acids in it good for the skin and coat. Alot of people on here use this and rave about it. It comes in a bag an you sprinkle a teaspoon full on their food.

| Is your little one just a pup?? layla had the WORST dandruff.. esp on her back.. when she was little... she is now 7 months.. and it is gone.. however the vet did give me a medicated shampoo which may have played a part it is called Sebolux... and the key ingredient that is for dandruff is Keratolytic, so maybe any shampoo that has that ingredient will be fine. Also i used to rub baby oil on her skin.. but that got plenty messy... look up dry skin under the search... i'm sure you will find tons of good ideas |

| I noticed a difference with the missing Link in about two months. You can get Missing Link at Petsmart but if your petsmart doesnt have it you can get it from petsmart online
