Aren't you glad our Yorkies don't get this big! I think I'd freak out if I had a dog that big!!! It's an Irish Wolfhound if you were wondering. My boyfriend came across that picture and I thought I'd share! Holy moly, that dog could play basketball if he wanted!

I don't think hes the biggest.. maybe the tallest? I Googled it and found some neat info! (That's how bored I am at this hour of night) The Guiness Book of World records: The world's smallest dog living in terms of height is Whitney, a Yorkshire terrier who measured 7.6 cm (3 in) to the shoulder on November 26, 2002. Whitney is owned by the UK's Christopher and Patricia Sheridan of Shoeburyness, Essex, UK. And the largest dog: "Hercules", an English Mastiff with a 38-inch neck and 282 pounds of pure dog. He looks huge!

Irish Wolfhounds are very much real. To this day, they're big enough that I could ride one like a horse (I'm 5'0")! Take a look on the AKC site

My husband has an English Mastiff, he weighed 130 last weigh-in and he's only 7 months old. He'll continue growing until age 2...his dad weighed around 210 I think. Hubby's puppy can put his paws on my shoulders and he stands taller than me I'm 5'3" and he's still a baby. I love big dogs but the one in that picture is really huge. That Mastiff looks more like a Neo than an English. Here is pic of our dogs dad http://home.ripway.com/2004-10/19218...onTheGreat.bmp

Oh he is really really cute though!!!! He looks like a big old baby!!! My mom has a coon hound that is still a puppy and he is HUGE like your husbands dog, yet he thinks he's a LAP dog... it's hilarious.... but he is the sweetest, most loveable dog I have ever came in contact with... he just LOVES being babied!! LOL

big dogs If a Yorkie grew that big, none of us would own them. I can not imagine a terrier spirit in a huge dog...a 4 pound Yorkie will attack a Rottie or Dobie without giving it a thought....and as hard as they can be to housebreak, we would have piles of poop the size of cow manure in the house! LOL I would have to run them through the car wash for a bath each week...
