Sandrine have had the same symptoms before having her first litter . I have her checked by my vet , she was ok . She is in the category , why loose a mealtime .

Yeah she's just kinda laying around. The Animal hospital said "keep her in a dark, warm room away from the kids and other pets" Obviously I cant sit here in my bedroom all day.

I went to get a drink and she followed me to the kitchen. She seemed fine then. She must have wanted to walk around a bit.

She then hid 1/2 way under the couch. All you could see was her little tushy lol. Now she's back on my bed (which is probably where she's gonna hev the pups) and she's laying down and resting. Almost like a twightlight sleep.

I knew I should have changed the bedding. I have 2, $1200 comforters on there lol. Oh well. As long as she's happy and healthy I don't care.

Oh, she's also popped a couple time. It's only been very small amounts each time. Is this too normal? It's like she's cleaning her system out. She doesn't seem sick, just tired and crampy.

Ya know how you feel when it's that time of the month? You're just kinda...blah. Well that's how she looks. She's not amused.

What is the weight of Angel ? Sandrine is 5 pounds 1/2 .

She was 6 pounds even before getting pregnant. As of last monday the 25th she was 7 pounds 6 ounces.

Yes..she sounds normal this morning. Pooping is normal, laying around. She has been xrayed and her size is good..all you can do is wait. I would cook her a bit of chicken, a few bites of cheese, but she may refuse it.

Angel is a Piggy. She NEVER refuses food. She did however go back under my bed and I cant get her to come out.

I hope so but she's on both sides of the fence, One minute she begging my daughter for her food and the next she's plopped on her side.

She JUST came out but now she wants to be on my bed. She'll lay still for hours then all of a sudden she's up and around. She's giving me mixed signals lol

I take it everything still went smoothly? How did she handle the delivery?

She was really hard to follow . A minute she wanted to be with me , the other she asked to go out , after she wanted her bed .

Everything went very good .

I'm going through the same thing with Angel. One minute she wants to cuddle, the next she hides under my bed. This morning I could have sworn she was in labor but now im not so sure.

What sucks is I have to get my son from the bus stop in about 45 min and we live in the middle of nowhere. I have to drive to his bus stop (yep its that far) which means Angel is left alone. I hate the idea of her being here alone even if it is only 20 minutes.

Is there a place you can let her to have some rest ? I mean a puppy pen where you can place her bed or in your bedroom with water for the time you'll be out ?

If she is like Sandrine , you'll have to wait as I do .

She has a whelping box that I purchased. Inside, there are a couple whelping pads, a heating pad (on low) and her favorite down blanket. She's fine in there for a while but then decides to get on my bed. I don't like the idea of her jumping on and off my bed being as close to delivery as she is, but It's hard to stop her.

I blocked off my bed so she can't get under it anymore. Im afraid she'll have the pups under there and if she does I wont be able to get to her.

Right now she is walking around the house so I assume she's doing ok for now.

I'll put her in my room (where her whelping box is) and close the door when it's time to get my son. Hopefully she'll be ok while im gone.

HEHE they are so tiny. How old were they there? Brand new? Sandrine looks a lot like my angel, only she's older then Angel. Angel is only 11 months old.

They have a lot of the same characteristics. Where did you get her from (if you don't mind me asking)
