Ugh My male yorkie found some poo in the yard ..... and started eating it. Freaked my little grandson out something terrible. I yelled at him "BAD" and he stopped eating right away and has never done it again. I really don't know what kind of poo it was but we do not have cats (allergies) so there is no in-house poo poo eating here. (lol):D |

My brother's miniature american eskimo LOOOOVES his own poo. Especially when it's frozen in the winter! It's like he's digging up little toys under all the snow, he even throws them around and runs after them! Then after he's had his fun, it makes a nice light snack :D |
I know just how you feel...it is soooo disgusting and I've heard a lot of people that have dogs and cats having this problem and having to put the litterbox up. Maddie never showed any interest in eating poop until one day when I let her out to go potty. She was walking around sniffing and next thing I know, she's rolling on the ground...then stands up and starts eating something. I run to her to find it's poop! I was totally grossed out...and it stunk to high heaven! I carried her in at arms length and bathed her and cleaned her mouth and brushed teeth and then called my vet. I thought it may be raccoon poop, so he had me come up to get some wormer and a pill for her because raccoon poop carries some deadly parasites. Ugh! I don't know for sure who's poop it was...just know it wasn't her own because I always keep hers picked up each time she goes. She's never done it since..."knock on wood!" And...she darn well better not do it again! LOL |
I know how you feel!! When Tia was a baby, she loved to her poo!! Her breath stunk!! But she only did it a few times and then stopped -- thank god!! :D |
tye sometimes eats poo but only his brothers (zac) and it still has to be warm lol he did it once when zac was still going and there was tye munching it as it came out of zacs bum, zac face was kind of like   lol |
This can be common among dogs, eating their poop, another dogs poop, or another animals poop. Yeah it's grossed, but it does happen so no need to freak out. I only had to deal w/ a dog eating his own poop, so hopefully your vet can help you get your babe out of this nasty habit! Good luck! |
So nasty. I am cracking up.:yelrotflm :yelrotflm I know it is gross but most dogs do it a some point. I bet all of ours have a taste we don't know about. Just give her a mint and put the litter up. hee hee |
