I just wanted to say, I love this place too already! I'm a newbie here, but I already like it. I'm not a Yorkie owner yet...sadly! I've had some really bad breeder experiences (see the "for sale/wanted" section of the board for the details) so I wanted to come here for any referrals and to learn more about yorkies of course. I've been deciding back and forth between a yorkie or a maltese, and just between us, I only came here today and I already prefer this forum. shhh, but too many people at the malt forum seem to think they are too high and mighty for their own good.... but you didn't hear that from me!

Hi and Welcome gwen and yizzl , I'm new to this site as well. And Gwen yes you are right about the maltese forum. My goodness they are a bit much I was lock out for providing a link to a member for conditioner that prevented matting and it was a natural product too. I noticed here they are more allowing with giving tips and advise. That why we are all log in here to make sure we provide the best care and love for our babies. Anyway I'm there because i will be getting a maltese soon. Currently we have a yorkie chester. I had a maltease before and want one again. I 'm sure chester would love a play mate. yizzl wow your puppie is a very quick learner. Maybe you should think of becoming a trainer. I saw a puppy on tv that could do a lot of trick too., That is so cute. Chester does tricks too but only when he feels in the mode. Usally for me and my husband, but he can not do that much. oh heheh for got why i was responding. with in regards to the ears. they will pup up in time. chester poped up around 6-8 months.

Wow, locked out for putting a LINK in the message? That is insane! I'm glad people here are nice and friendly, too, I'd never suspect a dog forum where people are supposed to help each other would be so weird like that! YorkieTalk is all about sharing tips and advice, and yes, sometimes we need to teach each other about products. Thanks to the Internet, we can buy products that otherwise our local pet store may not have!

wow george, so it's not just me! they screen the posts before they are posted, so a moderator has to approve of them before they can be posted. well because i was new they'd just leave mine unscreened for days and ignore them. when i posted in one thread, i asked why my posts never showed up, well the next day i went back, i couldn't access their forum! i guess their snotty moderators couldn't handle being asked a simple question, because anytime i asked why my posts weren't showing up when everyone elses did, my post would get deleted! when i tried to go back, it said there was a system error, yet it worked fine for all my friends who i had asked to test the link for me. well as soon as i deleted my cookies the forum showed up for me, but the second i typed in my user name, i got the same fake "error" message that i couldn't access the forums. it makes me so mad that they censor things like this, and then are so snotty that they get offended if you try to ask why. i've been deciding between a yorkie and a maltese, and now i want to get a yorkie just so i can stay here with you guys, i don't want to go back there!

| Gwen ... you're welcome here even if you decide to get a "howler monkey"!! We're just all animal lovers ... most of us are just partial to Yorkie babies! I have had lots of different breeds in my life but had I known the Yorkie personality ... they would all have been Yorkies!!!

See Gwen, everyone here is nice , and i have already pickup good tips and bought good products for chester since I 've joined. And they don't mind if I happen to mention the malese we will be getting soon. I'm only a member of the maltese forum for tips and stuff for our new puppy. I do fine the maltease forum to be rude and jugemental. I love it here too Last edited by Chester; 10-06-2004 at 02:06 PM.
