OMGosh, this was such a sweet thread thank you all so much. I have been on such an emotional roller coaster and this has to be some of the happiest tears yet.

Villette you are so amazing, you never forget anyone and you are a wonderful friend to all. I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say we all love you and love having you here. You must be my angel, you are always there for me, even the stuff not posted. Thank you so much, this was the nicest surprise...

The actual surgery went very well, they got all of the black mass and it wasn't actually touching her spine (that is great news). The incision is very little about an inched and stiched way better than the spay stichs, heck you can barely even see it. They started surgery at about 8:15 and was done by 9:30, but my baby had a lot of trouble coming out of the Anastasia and then when they did finally get her to respond she got very sick.( I hope she never has to be put under again and I am so glad they did the skin test while she was already under) She seems to be doing better but still a little sick. The vet did tell me when they have that much trouble coming out of the Anastasia that it is normal to be sick for a while. 2 weeks ago yesterday she weighted 7lbs 6ozs, and today she only weighed 6llbs 1oz.(they said this could be a bit of a good thing though cuz she was a bit on the chunky side) I so can't wait til this night mare is over. I am going to try so hard to sleep tonight and I actually ate when I came home.

The vet is going to call me tonight around 6 to let me know how she is and I will be back up there tomorrow.

BIG SIGH OF RELIEF !!!!!! Ok - we have ONE obstacle down and now she needs to recover and come HOME !!! Oh girl - I got chills reading your post - I know how much you love her and how much you've gone thru and I just can't accept that she could have anything that serious wrong with her ! She came thru this like a TROOPER and so has her mom !!

I know you had the worst morning ever.....take care of YOU now and your baby will be home before you know it to play with her cute cute sisters !

HUGS Tricia I wish I could do it in person....You're a special lady and I was really worried - I know we all are - so this is the best news !

Prayers have been answered!! Tricia - thank you for updating us on how things went for Lexi. I know we have all been so worried about her (and you too) all day today. What great news that the mass was not touching her spine - I think my co-workers think I'm nuts cause I was screaming, "yes" and clapping when I read that part - oh well, they can keep right on thinking that. Prayers will continue that she has a speedy recovery and is back home in no time!

I'm so glad to hear that Lexy is out of surgery and doing OK - hopefully the sickness will pass and she will be much much better soon. I hope she gets back to her self and that they can find out what she is allergic to so that her treatment can be better for her needs. It is so stressful to have a little one sick - take care!
