| I'm confused about that too. I think Tuck's cotton coated, but I'm not sure...he's all poofy! I love his curly locks, but I'm not sure if it's considered "cotton coat" or not...

| Tuck's coat is funny. It's nice & shiny & healthy looking, it's just super curly (actually so is mine - but no one ever told me my hair looked cottony lol!) Here's his pics, I don't know if you can tell from these...

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | My Chanel has a super thick and cottony coat - and I've been using CC systems and just got Reviva Coat and the Sea Breeze oil and its help sooo much - With Cheri my little girl - I spend about 5 minutes on her hair - it;s silky - With Chanel - It's more like 30 minutes but a great shampoo has made a difference - this is her now - |

| I just love God's creativity in making ALL of these little puppies so unique!! Yorkie_Girl - I just think Oreo is the cutest thing! Love seeing his pics! Biddy's Mom - Tucker's locks are gorgeous! red98vett - your girls are precious - Chanel's hair is sooo thick, I don't think I have ever seen that much hair on a Yorkie - it's beautiful! (& it looks like you do a wonderful grooming job on both of your girls) |

| Well I guess my Sophie is cotton coated. She has so much hair it is unreal. She is only 6 mths. old so I can't wait until it grows out. I can't wait. I think she is going to have really pretty hair. It will be a big job to keep it long as thick as it is but I am up to it. Sophie'smom |

Can I ask how old is your Chanel? I've had dogs all my life but this is the first time I own a Yorkie (actually, I don't even know anyone that owns a Yorkie). My Desi is 5 months and I am waiting for this beautiful coat to appear when, in fact, it seems to be getting worse.. The texture is silky and straight but the hair around her face seems to grow OUT instead of down so she looks like she stuck her paw in a light socket.. When will I start to see a change. Your dogs coat is beautiful.. and has the length that I'd to ultimately achieve.. how long do I need to wait? | |
