Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Great job James!!! You are a great student!!! So glad to hear you like the Petsmart classes!! We tried Petco in our area with Magic and it was terrible....she was required to use a collar and the teacher was into correcting by pulling on the collar....we lasted 2 weeks and quit.

I thought the whole deal was that PetSmart offered FREE training classes? Or am I thinking of something different? | |

| Congrats on the graduation! My GiGi graduates from her petsmart puppy class next Wednesday! Are you going to move up to the next level, or stop after this class. There have been several pups that our trainer has recommended stay in training classes, but GiGi is not one of them. RLC12345678 here, the classes are $99 for 8 weeks, but if you aren't completely satisfied with the results, you can retake it for free. LIL MIS' MAGIC That's terrible about pulling on the collar..... great way to injure the delicate neck of a yorkie! Most everyone in our class at petsmart uses a harness..... but it wouldn't matter if you wore a collar because there is no *pulling to train*. We used clickers and treats. Pups that misbehaved were sprayed in the face with a bottle containing only water.... and that was rare! |
