Is it one of his senses coming back????? Hi everyone, I think I am going to call Babybear Mr. Humpty, Humpty. He has starting humping the air at least two to three times a week. Mind you he still only can stand when I hold him. So most of the time he is laying down. I have asked the vet they say they don't know why he would do that. He is 2 years old and he was fixed at 8 wks old. Now before he broke his neck and had surgery he used to chase Bud(75 pound pitbull) and he would hump her. He would do it until he fell asleep and then when he woke he would start again. I had to put a cool face cloth on him a couple of times since he started doing it again. He just can't get the swelling to go down. I put a cool cloth on it and wammo it is gone. I was just hoping that someone could answer me on this one seeing the vets can't. Boy if he wasn't fixed he would have made a great little stud muffin. lol Val

| AWWW poor little guy. Could the injury have done something to the nerves - "there"? Maybe he is "feeling" more than he did before. Maybe he can't control his movements. He reminds me of some men I have known. Sorry, just one of those images that flashes at the back of your mind. I do hope it's nothing serious.

Chrissy you are way to funny. I am just laughing at you and RoxyJosmom. If you could see this little man you would think he is a perv.lol specially when mom has to come in a give him the cool cloth. Like I said the doctors don't know why he would be doing it. They said ya maybe his sense are coming back they come back from front to back and well that is in the back. lol I have notice a lot more movement in the front paws the last couple of days. AS a matter of fact tonight he pulled his legs into himself and propped himself up. Yahooo. I would love to see him sit again. I am trying new things with him to sit and it might be helping. As long as he doesn't try to hump in the middle of it we will be doing great. And he did hump while trying to sit today. That is why I wrote this post. So I guess we might call him Humpty, Humpty perv man. lol

We are on the road to recovery, but not there yet. I have also been checking into Homeapathic meds for him to decrease the swelling in his neck and to help regenrate the nerves. So hopefully that will work for him too. I have a new wheel chair coming for him from a nice lady that just lost her yorkie. That should really help. Thank you for the site I will go and check it out.

I have written and talked to Marina online. She is someone that deals with the homeopathic medicain. She has treated a lot of animals. And I have checked out a site that there is a lady that has a dog that has papallimoma virus and she used the meds that Marina sent her and her dog is healed. Marina is going to stay in very close contact with me. I have research all the meds she has priscribed for Babybear and it is everything she said. I am still trying to take care of the Papilloma virus that he has also and she told me the meds i need for that also. I have looked for a vet near me and the nearest one is two states away. And to remove the papilloma virus he has under his tongue vets said 800 to 1200 to remove it with no saying it won't come back again. I really don't want to have my little guy put under again and have a set back. So the homeopathic is the way we have decided to go at this point. Like Marina said if it doesn't work there is always the surgery, but she has had very good luck with these meds. And very good luck with the meds for the spine.
