| Biddy never used to bark (unless someone came to the door) until recently (she is a year & 1/2 now). Now she barks more often - when she hears any noise - someone dropping something, when the phone rings, etc. Tucker hardly ever barks - he is almost 5 months. I don't think I would even recognize his bark! Consider it a blessing & enjoy the quiet!!!

| Here lately the only time Cordelia barks is when she hears someone knocking whether it is on TV or the real thing. She also barks when she hears other dogs barking. Other than that she doesn't bark a lot which it good for me.

| When we got Bo we also had an 8 year old Schnauzer who barked all the time. I was very distressed to watch the Schnauzer teaching Bo all his bad habits! Bo didn't initially bark much either!

| I have several dogs/puppies in my home and they all nap at the same time and there is peace and quiet. Bt, when the new choc. puppies are awake, they are terrors and aggravate the adults. Once the adults let them know who is boss, they start to do play bows and bark. Mercy me, can they bark!!!! I throw the bean bags up in the air and they fall close to the puppy. They are distracted and usually will settle down til the next thing comes along.. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Magic likes to bark but only at strange noises and of course the doorbell...sometimes she will go into a barking spell and bark for a while but it is not that often so we tolerate it..Sailor on the other hand hardly barks and it only when the two of them are playing and she is on something higher...it is almost like she is teasing Magic..and her bark is so funny...she sounds like a squeaky toy when she barks it always makes us laugh!!!

| Pip didn't bark at all when I first got him but he soon settled in and made himself at home and as his confidence grew he barked. I was glad when he did as I was getting worried about him! He doesn't bark much now just the occasional growl at strangers in the street and people on bicycles - he hates wheels and growls at shopping trolleys that old people pull as well !! He loves the car though which is strange! |

| Duke barks when he hears strange noises, or when he sees strangers in the backyard. (We are having our yard landscaped, so people are constantly coming and going.) The only other time Duke barks is if I am holding him and someone comes near us, even if it is a family member. He's my personal body guard!

| Our Toto doesn't bark except when we allow her to ... playing, etc. She decided to bark the second day we had her ... we put her in her crate for a nap and she started barking. We read that when they do something you don't like, you should do something they don't like. So, a few little taps on the metal part of her crate and she hasn't done it since! She's very good about it and quickly learned the word "no" ... so we just tell her "no bark" and she stops. They are so smart!

| Maddie barks when someone comes to the door and when she sees people walking by our yard. Rudy is another story he is a barker. he barks at everything. We are starting May 11 obedience class and work on this.

| Bella never barks except once in a while at the cat. She has howled at the cat too but never barks or howls at anything or anyone else.
