| What a memory! I am sitting here laughing to myself about an incident that happened yesterday morning. Buddy and I train every morning over my 6:30 cup of coffee for 1/2hr. A couple of months ago I ran out of things to teach him and trained him to bring me my slippers from the bedroom. It took a couple of days but if finally clicked. After about a week he deceided to get the slippers but not give them to me! Well I ended this trick because I did not have the patience to chase him so early. It has been at least 2months since we did this and yesterday morning I wanted to be left alone so I sent him on a wild goose search for the slippers. (they were on my feet). I told him to go get mommy's slipper's so I could drink my coffee! He looked at me tilting his head to the side thinking and then he turned and ran down the hall. I really did not think he remembered. In less than a couple of seconds he came back running down the hall like hell and attacked my FEET! I was so surprised I could not stop laughing nor could I get his mouth from around one of the slippers. He remembered they were on my feet. What memories these Yorkies have. We rolled all over the floor with him attached to my one feet for a couple of minutes. It was the funniest thing he ever has done. |
