It looks great to me also. I can't knit, well really never gave it a try. I did go buy all the stuff to learn how to crochet. Never could pick it up, so I guess if I can't do crochet, then knitting is out too.

thanks everyone. I am working on antoher one. this time I think it will fit Ahia. I went and bought bigger needles. and a bulky type yarn so as not to see any mistakes if i make them. you just don't know how proud I am to just finally get to the point where I can make something. I will post a pic of Ahia's sweater as soon as I finish it. probably today.

this tells you why it has been 40 yrs to learn this.....

I said I went to bigger needle and different yarn???? well.........
I thought the first one was bad............ this one is a belly throb!
and you ask your self why would I post this creation for all the world to see? you needed a good laugh didn't ya?
for those knitters out there.... do you think I could add some elastic and make it fit?

awww.. Ahia looks so umcortable.... lol... look at the bright side ..it still looks better than something I would make...lol.. i'll stick to baking thank you very much!

actually years ago I tried to knit leg warmers (when they were in style). I never wore them of course because both of my legs are somewhat the same length. But yes this is the first thing I have ever actually made.

thanks everyone, I am getting more proud as I go. I am attempting a more difficult pattern next. I have started it 3 times already. I sure don't hold the yarn the right way and I look .... well lets say... not so elegant knitting pose. But I get it done. Its comming along.
Any body else learning ??? maybe I can learn along with ya..can I huh huh??
