| How do I take off the Grass!!! HELP I have another little dilema that happened right now..I took Gizmo outside to play and I turned for one second to pick up a rack that was on the floor and I turned to look at Gizmo and all I saw was his little butt up in the air jumping in the grass!!! Normally I wouldnt have a problem but in my back yard I have this grass this is bushy I dont know if you guys know which one I am talking about but it got stuck on him really good...I tried brushing it off and then i wet it to see if it would make it easier then i brushed it again but it did not work!! I cant get it out and it is really tangled in there!! Has n e one had this problem??? PLease help.... |

| What kind of grass is it? It's not foxtail grass I hope! That can be very dangerous for dogs. That only came to mind because I can't imagine a grass that would stick like that. Is it like stickery? I guess you will probably have to try hand picking it off of him. I just don't know what to say. | I am not sure what you are talking about. if it is a sticky kind of grass maybe you can sprinkle a little powder on it to make it less sticky then brush or shake it out.

| Omg!! It is the type of Grass!!! I am taking him to the vet today!!! Does it make a difference if they arent fully grown of that type of grass we mow our lawn every week so they are really small ...I am going to dig them all out!!! | Update on My Gizmos Grass problem Hello ladies, first i would like to say thank you for letting me know how dangerous foxtail grass can be...My Gizmo probably wouldnt be with us today if I hadnt read your link....I took him to the vet a couple hrs ago and they told me to get childrens benedryl and of course they shave off the parts with the grass and got him all grass free again..SO HE IS FINE...thank you so much.. |

| Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I posted about foxtail grass. I just couldn't imagine a grass sticking to him except for that type. Thank goodness you now know about it and can keep him away from it! Maddie sends get well wishes to little Gizmo!!! He's so darling!
