| Only if she hasn't been asleep for a long, long time. But yours is a baby. It takes tons of sleep for babies.

| As Yorkieusa said, babies need more sleep. Mine is 13 weeks, and he still sleeps alot, but when he's awake, he's very active. First thing in the morning, he eats quite a bit but he doesn't nap until late morning. He sleeps through the night, so he's full of energy when he gets up. After that, he nibbles on and off all day, then eats more in the evening and seems to want to nap after that. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | My girls are the opposite - they eat - then it's WRESTLE time - or they get toys and follow me around hitting the back of my legs with them till I get on the floor and play....Chanel LOVES to catch toys in mid air and Cheri loves to pretend someone is stealing hers.....although - Chanel usually IS trying to steal them lol |

| LOL lucky you two...my baby is 7wks and 4 days and he sleeps a lot also...only thing is he chooses to sleep in the day time and not all the way through the night, so I get up around 2 am and also 5 am to play with him make sure he drinks his already access to water and eat a bit then he'll go back to sleep. I'm trying to get him on my schedule cuz he is still pretty much on the breeder's schedule...but at least he doesnt yap when he is up at 2 and 5am...I just happen to hear him walking around in his cage. | My pup always gets 'sugar rush' after he eats - his dry kibble that is. He gets wired for about an hour or two, then goes for a nap. He still sleeps during day as puppies do. But that's a new pattern... He used to sleep after eating as well. He's a little over 4 months.
