| Try taking her for a walk several times a day. I do that and haven't had many problems with my 12 wk. old Lucy. She's too tired to get into trouble usually. |

| That's hilarious! Around here, we call it a case of "the puppies"... She must be a relative to Muffin. Janc is right. Those walks have saved my sanity. Kacee and I have already walked two miles this morning.

My husband plays in a blues band (when he is physically able) and he had the guys over the day after the Adie attack. (I was at work.) He said they were taking a break and just sitting there talking when Adie goes tearing through the living room with something streaming behind her. She started racing around the room teasing each person who, of course, was trying to grab her. The harder they tried the better she got at changing course. They were all howling with laughter by the time one of them actual grabbed her. The had an even bigger laugh when they saw what Adie was dragging behind her. Can you guess? It was a pair of my panties. Fortunately they were clean and hocked from a clothes basket but the guys had a field day with it. I will never live it down! | |

| Leave it to a yorkie! Kacee was a wild one last night. I didn't think she would ever wear down. And she had been for one two-mile walk yesterday, plus another four or so rounds on our one-acre lot.

| LOL... and here I thought I was the only one with a wild child. Maggie is 6 months and always busy. We finally had to put a bell on her so we'd know where she is and what she is up to. What are you going to do but love them. Maggie gets in trouble, we get mad, she smiles and give us puppy kisses... who can stay mad???

| Are you sure you're not talking about Topher? LOL I can totally relate!! Especially with the toilet tissue incident. That used to be Topher's toy of choice!! After many evenings spent chasing Topher down while he was just having all of this fun, hubby and I decided that it was time for obedience class...it's made all the difference in the world. Plus, one small thing that I did was that I took total control over Topher's food...not leaving it out on the floor and only putting it down for 20 minute intervals during the day. I couldn't believe how doing something so small like that would make such a huge difference in a dog! ( Apparently it's supposed to show him that I'm the alpha because I control the food)...it works! These pups are amazing, fun, entertaining and sweet....one of the best dogs I've ever had, that's for sure, but in order to keep up and to keep this home happy we had to do the obedience thing. I'm disabled so chasing him down was pretty difficult (I think he knew that!!) |

| Thanks again y'all. Is Adie old enough for obedience training? I want to take her to PetSmart and get it started but when is the best time? She is 5 months old now. And another thing, she is still too small for me to find a harness that fits her. She only weighs 3 pounds right now. She has been eating like a little pig the last couple of days (I don't leave food out all day for her.) so I think she may be heading into a growing spurt. Hey, last night was really calm with the little Dinky Butt. She stopped pretending to eat my hands after about 15 minutes then was an angel the rest of the night! Ah rest glorious rest! |
