| Hairless Nose Has anyone's Yorkies rubbed their hair off around their nose? Bear has allergies and rubs his nose on the floor or is scratching it most of the time. I give him Benadryl but don't see it helping much. Also will the hair ever grow back? The vet is not much help so I thought I'd ask the experts - YOU.

| I'm bumping this. It seems like someone else has had this problem before. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has done it twice. Even the vet said it was a strange place to rub the fur off of. They told me to use Benydryl which didn't help for teh itching and they gave me a cream called Panalog to clear up the bacterial infection. They did a skin scrape from the area, of course that made it look even worse but after about 5 days on the cream it cleared up and her fur grew back pretty quick about 2 weeks. Hope this helps.

| As a puppy, Maddie had a little bald spot on her nose and it was a lighter color than her nose color. I was worried that it would spread, but eventually, it went away and the hair grew back. I put neosporin on it once or twice a day. I never did find out exactly what that was. I hope Bear gets better!!!
