| Diesel was 1.8 at 9 weeks. He is 1 year and 2 months and he just hit the 5 pound mark. I am really hoping to get an extra pound on him. He is just so small. So far no luck. Diesel also didn't start to pack on his weight till he was about 8 months.

Summer parents were about that same size. I can't remember if her mom was 4.5 and her dad was 3. Or her mom was 4 pds and her dad was 3.5 pds. But anyways at 8 weeks she was only 1.5 pds and now she is 10 months old and she weighs about 3.5 pds give or take depending on how much she has eaten or been running around. Hope this helps.

| I don't know how you do it with such small babies. I would be scared to death with a 2, 3, 4 or even 5lb baby. I never expected Buddy to get to 13lbs but even that is small. I have fallen over him more than once and I can see him! I picked him out because he was larger. At the time 3.5lbs at 14weeks. I held one that was so small I would have had to quite work to stay home and care for her. Is it scary to take care of one so small? |
