| spa girl Yesterday I was sitting out by the pool reading. I heard a little SPLOOSH...knowing Edie was nearby, I went to investigate, and there she was, sitting in the spa (next to the pool) on the top step. She was only in 3 inches of water, and could have easily gotten out. But she seemed to like it in there! I guess being a little Yorkie can be stressful I do want to point out that I am very careful around the pool-spa area with Edie. It is surrounded by a 6-foot high brick wall, and you must go through 2 latched gates before you can get into the area. These gates always swing shut. Edie can only get in if I let her in. When I am sitting by the pool, I let her in with me, but she is constantly supervised. I don't even play a radio so that I can hear everything. I know that some rescue groups won't even adopt out to people with pools, and with good reason. It can be dangerous. We have taken some extra precautionary measures to have a safe, Yorkie proof pool-spa area. |

| Aw Edie just likes that warm water. Chachi and Jewels like to get in our hot tub too. I dont let them stay in very long though because I worry about them getting too hot.
