I think if you can afford it do it however you should buy it because you like it and not because of the name you should feel the same with a 20 dollar bag as you do with a 800 dollar bag its the you not the what that counts.

I agree. I don't have any skin-children and I really do view Codie and Tia as my babies. So when I see something that I like (for them), I don't look at the price tag.

I want the carrier too. Hubby said he will get it for me in December.

It's my gift. I am getting him as a gift the BOSE surround sound but it's a secret.

There is nothing wrong with buying high priced items for your yorkie . If I had the money i would even buy my baby a 10k bag . by the way i know a woman who bought a 4k crocodile bag for her yorkie and it looks gorgeous

I've been harassing by bf for the carrier for months now...but he thinks its ridiculous to spend the money on something like that....just wait until he wants his next expensive motorcycle accessory...then its gonna be lets make a deal...lol

That was an expensive lesson, but I have 2 Yorkie's so nothing goes to waste. I don't buy any other "Designer Labels" for them just "Louie" so they will match me.

Did you pay through PayPal? You can file a complaint if it was advertised as authentic and really a knock-off. You have to file it within 30 days and will have to provide proof (usually a letter in writing from a LV rep) that it is fake, and you'll get your money back.

My boyfriend and I also have a designer fettish - more Coach and Burberry for us though. Ferdinand has a Coach collar, and Santa just might bring him a Burberry collar/leash set for Christmas

Everyone has their own fettishes. If LV is yours and you've got the money to spend on it, then who cares how much it is.

Bruce has a designer fetish of his own, but I think he developed it getting into my closet. He has both 2 coach collar and lead sets, and a LV set, and I have to say that although I like the variety of colers coach offers,the LV seems to be a bit more comfortable on him and so that is his daily wear. In terms of carriers he has a few, the LV being the most expensive, and it is by far his least favorite, I think it is because it offers less ventilation (Bruce is a frequent flyer so ventilation is important), He has a Gucci carrier and a Kate Spade Carrier and they are both much more comfortable. A good place to look is bluefly.com I actually got the Gucci carrier at like 60% off. Also always make sure you buy from an actual retailer that sends the authenticity cards if you care concerned about knockoffs (although you can still get ripped off of course).
