simple pattern for doggy clothes I don't know if this has already been covered by the forum, if so I missed it... I was so happy to find this site that offers a free sewing pattern for a doggy jacket- I am planning on trying to making my own clothes for my fur-babies. It is just a simple, basic pattern, but for me I think that is all I need to get me started. I'm no seamstress by any means, but I am hoping to learn! Anyway.. here is the web site if anyone else is interested... http://sewing.circleofcrafters.com/f...stpattern.html

on a side note... The dog that is shown modeling the jacket was tragically killed and another one of their babies, also, by a rottweiler that came into their yard. Their story is told on the last page of the "view coats made by other visitors" link. Now I'm sad... I just hate to hear those kind of stories. I have always been aware of the outside dangers, but after all the horrible stories I have read about beloved pets being attacked in their own yards it almost makes me afraid to take my babies outside of our fenced yard!

That stinks about the lil dog getting attacked! Makes me sad I am going to try this to make a harnness out of it. It seems to be the same pattern that Pita's harness is made out of. I think I will just add extra velcro and double stitch a harness hook into it. I'll let you know how it comes out!!
