Everyone Pls Pray For Reco.... :( MY DAY HAS GONE ALL WRONG...FIRST MY RECO LUV WOKE UP THIS MORNING WITH A FEVER...HE WAS VOMITING LIKE CRAZY AND WOULDNT EAT...I TOOK HIM TO THE VET THIS MORNING AND THEY TOLD ME THAT RECO HAS A FEVER AND A RESPIRATORY INFECTION...I CRIED MY EYES OUT...THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP HIM OVER NIGHT AND HOPES THAT HE GETS BETTER....THIS IS MY FIRST YORKIE AND I DONT WANT TO LOSE HIM...LORD PLS KEEP RECO SAFE AND MAKE HIM BETTER...IVE DONE ALL I COULD AND NOW I LEAVE IT IN YOUR HANDS...IF YOU DO HAVE TO TAKE MY BABY BOY...TREAT HIM WELL...FOR HE IS A :littleang....IN JESUS NAME AMEN :angel2dl: RECO MAMI LOVES U! :getwell: |

Praying for Reco to get better soon. Cali had several of those issues when she was a puppy and after a stay each time at the vets she was much better. He is where he needs to be right now to get better. I know how hard and scary it is to have them sick. Take care! |

Update On Reco OK HERES AN UPDATE: 6:00 PM I CALLED THE VET BACK AND HE SAID THAT MY LIL RECO...IS ON FLUIDS AND HAS ONLY ATE A FINGERTIP FULL OF FOOD....BUT NOW HE IS GETTING A SUBSTITUTE SO HE IS A LIL BETTER. ALSO HE IS NOT REALLY ABLE TO STAND AND WALK BUT THEY SAID BY TOMORROW HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO...BUT HE WILL HAVE TO STAY 48 OR MORE HOURS BEFORE HE CAN COME HOME... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO...IM SCARED AND MY EYES ARE ALL OUT OF TEARS...ALL I WANT IS MY BABY BOY RECO TO COME BACK TO MOMMY... Sorry Everyone But...... 4 Attachment(s) I Thank Everyone For Their Prays And I Hope They Help..... The Reason Im Taking This So Hard Is Because...about 5 Months Ago I Adopted A Chokie By The Name Of Lowie From A Shelter....lowie Was A Great Dog...yet Lowie Was Very Very Sick And The Shelter Knew It And Still Let Me Adopt Him....i Had Lowie For A Total Of 4 Days And On The 5th Day I Had To Put Him To Sleep...on The 1st Day I Took Him To The Shelters Vet And They Said He Was Fine He Just Was Upset From The Move...so I Took Him Back Home And On The 2nd Day He Was Shaking And Vomiting And I Took Him Back To The Shelters Vet And They Checked Him Out And Said Give Him Some Medication...so I Did And Took Him Back Home Ok Now The 3rd Day It Was The Worst....lowie Passed Out And Wouldnt Get Up...i Took Him Back To The Vet And They Said He Has A Mild Case Of Kennel Cough..and Gave Him Amoxicilion...he Perked Up For A Min....so On The 4th Day I Couldnt Take It Anymore So I Took Him To A Different Vet And I Was Told He Had....bronchitis, Phenomia, Diarrhea, And Much More I Just Cant Remember What It Was....lowie Was A Sweet Heart And Did Othing Wrong To Be Treated Like That... Im So Scared That My Reco Will No Make It...because That Was Tramatizing What Happened To Lowie... But I Have Faith In Him And He Will Come Thru...i Just Want To Hold My Reco Again!!! Here Are Some Pick Of My Chorkie Lowie.....r.i.p! |

Sorry to hear about Lowie, did the shelter take any responsibility for giving you a sick dog? Hopefully Reco will be much better tomorrow. Just know that you and Reco are in our thoughts and prayers. |

Update On Reco OK I CALLED THE VET THIS MORNING AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE REASON WHY RECO IS NOT EATING AND FALLING OVER AND VOMITING IS BECAUSE HE HAS GIARDIA :shocked7q SO THE VET IS TREATING THAT RIGHT NOW....BUT ITS SUCKS FOR ME BECAUSE THE VET SAID I CAN'T COME DOWN AND SEE HIM :( :mad: BUT HE SHOULD BE COMING HOME TOMORROW OR THURSDAY!!! HOPEFULLY TOMORROW....I CAN'T GO ANOTHER DAY WITHOUT HIM! BUT THATS THE UPDATE ON RECO... :angel2dl: THANKS TO ALL THE HELPING PRAYERS :angel2dl: |
Oh that's good and bad news. Giardia is treatable. My Pom had it real bad when she was a puppy and made a complete recovery with medicines. That's sad they won't let you visit did they say why? I know at the er vet where CAli had several stays they had a whole visitation policy with times etc. Although when Cali was in the last time for spaying I didn't go visit becasue I thought it would upset her more to see me and then leave without her. Hopefully Reco will be home tomorrow. Thanks for updating us. |
The vet really didnt say...i mean this vet is not my vet....i just got reco on friday...and the breeder i got him from said to take him for a check up in three days to her vet...(the one thats treats all her pups) but i told her that he ws sick and i took him in immeditaly..the breeder told me if there is anything wrong with him that she will cover all the vet bills...i dont have to pay for anything! so thats why i took him there...but i really dont like this vet...because he just says ok this is whats wrng with him and doesnt even explain anything...i have questions and all he wants to do is get me off the phone so everything he tells me...i tell my vet and he confirms that he is right :thumbup: so i feel a little bit better...but i would feel great as soon as i can hold him and bring him home! |
