We have a pet door and a very secure back yard. I love that they can go outside on their own when they want. Mari, likes me to go out with her before bed for some reason. Maybe she's a little afraid that time of nite. We call it 'doing their business'.

Wally will go out no matter who lets them out, but Petey waits for Momma. He doesn't want me out of his sight, lol.

I guess this is a yorkie thing!!! I never had a dog act like this, most go with whomever. I'm glad Rocky isn't the only one. Anyone have any idea as to why they do this??

Both my Babies will go with my current BF. but they will not go Pooh! He will walk them and 10 min. after he gets back Home, she will go Pooh on the Living Room rug and he will wait until I get Home from work even if it takes 10 hrs. They will go pooh only with me on or off leash @ the Dog Park. They have always been this way, it's kind of irritating, he feels insulted

It's actually the only thing we fight about, he raises/breeds "Boxers" and thinks my Yorkie's are alot more work and too high maintenance. I keep telling him that he is comparing Apples to Oranges w/c is NO comparison!

My dogs prefer if I take them out. Sometimes if they see it's my husband that's opening the door they'll back up and I'll have to pretend to be heading that way

. I try to get whoever I can get to go out with them though because they sure do have to pee many times throughout the day!
I like how when my sons or husband take out Lola they'll come in pretty darn fast and say "She didn't have to go". Heck yes, she had to go...they just don't have the patience to stand there for a full 3 minutes.

Lillie will go out with either my husband or me, unless it is raining. If it's raining she will only go out with my husband.

My hubby takes them out when he gets up to go to work... But scent I am home all day, I take them out.. but as soon as my hubby comes home, they still tell me they have to go and wont go potty unless I am out there with them... which is a pain right now, scent I have a sprain ankle.

I am on the other side of the retractable leashes, and spend most of the day outside with them. Gonna be fun for this Winter... Rosi loves the snow...Poli dont know yet ! When it rained he ran back up on the Porch and puddled there
