He could be a silky too. He looks pretty big, but I can't really tell from the picture. But there are also big yorkies that are purebred. He looks like real sweetie, I'm glad you found each other.

Yes that is the truth! Dog behavior..You wont even believe how many dogs I DO have! lol...I have 6 goats so I have 2 LGD that stay with the goats and I have labs and a Mastiff etc..Counting Bob (this yorkie) I have 8 dogs...Im a total animal nut. And a cat..and a couple of fish and a HUSBAND!! lol Its a literal zoo at my place..

That would be the schnauzer part of him if that is what he is mixed with.
Their coat is very corse. He sure does have alot of Yorkie in him though.

OMGOSH!!! Yorkies are so CUTE!!!! Ive always been a *big* dog person and never had a smaller dog...But like I said this dog just did something to me. Ive never loved any dog anymore than this one and hes only been with me about 3 months..He has such soulfull eyes and a loving personality and does he ever love me!!! I just cant get over it! I almost have pulled the lost dog ad but feel that I will do whats right and give the owner ample chance to claim him. Someone surely MUST miss him but my husband thinks someone abandoned him..I cant imagine..I miss this dog all day while Im at work. I got it bad. I took him to a parade with me on Sat and then on to a carnival..I mean..Ive NEVER done this with any dog Ive ever owned. Of course they have all been BIG dogs too so its nice to have a smaller dog that you can do things with. Hes great with kids!! I have two little grandchildren and when they come over or I take Bob over there he loves it!!! Oh hes a keeper all right!!! I just want to learn everything I can about Yorkie behavior as it appears he does have a lot of yorkie in him.

what a lucky boy to have found you!! Yeah, on long weekends (3 day weekends) where we spend the entire day with my girl, she will cry when we leave for work. I'd cry too!

It must just be the loving nature of them. None of my other dogs care one bit that I leave. Of course they are outside dogs and maybe thats the difference. Bob stays in the house and only goes out when Im out there or my husband. Of course we are out a lot as I have a lot to do out there with all my animals. And we have a 30 x 50 shop that we practically live in.
When I ride the 4-wheeler to fill deer feeders or whatever..he wants to ride on the 4-wheeler too! When I tend the barn animals he is right there with me. He is snappy with the goats and Ive tried to correct that but sometimes he still does. He really thinks hes super tough for someone that is so small..

He certainly looks like a yorkie. The wirey hairs may be a result of a mix with a wire-haired terrier. He's a cutie! That behavior is typical yorkie behavior. They never want to be left alone. The only want to be with you. I'm glad you saved him.

You all really have no idea how happy I am to have found this place. I know that the people I work with are simply sick and tired of hearing about *Bob* all day long!! lol...

Haha.. my co workers know allllll about my yorkie, Howie. I have to come on here to talk about him so I don't drive them nuts!! So I can definetly relate to you!

I have seen almost that same exact look that Howie has so many times with Bob!!! Those dark eyes with the dark nose and the tilted head...It just melts you every time!!!!!
