Believe me, how I wish he could tell me what was wrong, but then again he is only 3months so even if he could it would be baby cries. It was just scaring me because he has not done this.

Sounds like he has a great Mommy to be concerned about everything! Thats a GOOD thing. Hope he rests well......

Well it was not a toy and we put him in his play pen where his potty pads are. and he normally barks for that. It more sounded like he was sad and honestly I am guessing on this.

If he is searching and crying, I wonder if he is having a pee pee problem. Like he needs to go but can't or it hurts ??? Just a thought.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I just want him to be ok and him crying was making me cry and to make things worse, I just finished reading a post and was crying already. I was really getting scared that he might be sick or something

Thank you, but no he went pee pee a few times. Honestly I thought because he has terrier in him that he was probably smelling a mouse which scares me, I would not want him to be catching mice.

We put him in and he wants out. Maybe he just wants to be pampered for a bit longer.

I do not think so, but then again who knows. I live in NJ so I do not think so. I was thinking maybe he is going in heat, but he is only 3months. When does a dog go in heat.

If by chance it is a mouse, be grateful. They are the best mouse traps you could ever have. If you live in an apartment, perhaps he is hearing noises you can't hear or maybe there is another dog or animal nearby. If he's crying often, you might want to check with your vet. There may be something going on inside him and this is the only way he can tell you. I'm not trying to scare you as it may just be he's going to be a whiner or perhaps he needs a friend his size to play with. Try getting some new toys and suggest a knee bone for him to chew on. We don't use chewys anymore, only knee bones because they are big and it keeps them occupied for hours on end. You know they know how to wrap us around their little paws!

I hope you find out whats making him cry.
Here are some things that have made my Little boy cry.
A ball under the couch that he cant get.
Wanting to go out side.
Crying for a treat.
Crying for my female when shes in heat.
Bottom is sore from going to the bathroom. or maybe having a dirty butt could do it.
Theres a lot of things that could cause him to cry .You might just have to watch and try and figure it out. Good Luck.

Has he possibly hidden a chew toy or treat somewhere and can't find it or get to it? Maddie will walk around crying sometimes when she has something she wants to hide and can't find a place to hide it. I have tried to help her, but she doesn't like my hiding places. LOL

Hope you figure out why he's crying!

males don't go into heat hun. females go about 6 months to 1 year. did you figure it outyet.

Okay, this may not have happened to a lot of people, but my yorkie did that when she lost her baby tooth. She just started whining and crying (and later I found, when I looked in her mouth that there was this bleeding hole where her tooth used to be) and kinda running around. Later my boyfriend stepped on what appeared to be a tooth. You should check the mouth to see if any teeth are missing.
