What is it about the phone? Every time my phone rings, Annie takes off to retrieve a squeaky toy. She then jumps in my lap and squeaks it into the phone! She's so jealous that I'm talking to someone other than her!

This reminded me of something my little Sissy girl used to do. Every time the phone would ring, she would jump right in the middle of our poor old cat Jasper. Poor cat. They are both gone now for many years but the memory still makes me smile. These little ones are such characters.

Thanks all! I really needed to have a chuckle this morning and I wasn't disappointed with all of the antics these little bundles provide you. I too trained my Bailey to get a ball when he was young, every time the phone rang. He's 2.5yo and still does the same. Having said that, I wonder now - did I train him, or did he train me.

Cody is the same way when I'm on my cell phone he'll whine and bark or grabs a toy,jumps in my lap and squeaks it in my face, all because I am not gazing into his eyes. If my land line rings he goes nuts and knocks the phone on the floor lol.
