| I pick up any unattended dog for their own safety whether it happens to be a Yorkie or a large dog and have had a variety of experiences good and bad. Here they place Found ads free in the newspaper. If the dog is out all the time like you think it is - I might return it once, but the next time I saw it (and I would be watching), it wouldn't be returned! In this case, I might even not put a found ad and wait to see if they care enough to pay for a lost ad. One, s**tzu or Llaso Apso, the owner called and said they were really busy this week could they come by and pick her up on the weekend!!! I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. One, Chihuahua, owner extremely grateful, offered $300.00 reward but I turned it down and later that day she brought over steaks and lobster tails. Yum! One very large dog, owner grateful, but I cleaned up hair and slobber out of my convertible for weeks! |

| I am going to do it. The lady that works with me is on vacation this week but like I said before I am going to drive to that location everyday. I would pick up any dog thats wondering around but I have not seen one until now. (not too many strays or lost animals where I live) I know about 7 yrs ago it was over 100 degrees outside..I seen this big dog walking around with his tongue hanging to the floor...I had just bought a bottle of water and I was with my son...I did pull my car over and stopped and poured some water on his head and let him drink from my hands. I didn't pick him up because I lived in a small apartment where of course I couldn't take him but I did flag a cop and he stopped. Not sure what happened after that. |
