I am probably going to get nailed for this but I love the colors that are considered a huge mistake or a "genetic mutation." I love love love chocolate yorkies. I would love to have a chocolate yorkie. They are so beautiful and they are healthy like any other yorkie so why not breed them?? Health is the most important thing so if they are no health issues then why can't there be chocolate yorkies that are bred? Sure the standard only calls for a certain color now but that is how alot of breeds started out. Just look at the parti yorkie. I believe it is only a matter of time before the standard changes. AKC already accepts parti and chocolate yorkies, sure they have to be approved first and are still not allowed to be shown, but it is only a matter of time before they are. JMO

Do we purchase a Yorkie because of his color?(those of us who do not show) I would be interested to know why everyone did purchase a Yorkie? Was it color, size or personality? Or all three? I purchased one because I love the size and personality. There are so many colors I didn't care if he had more tan than gold or more black than blue. As long as he was healthy. Is your human up to standard? Ours is much OVER the standard weight. Her hair is OK on a good day but it gets very knotty and needs to be brushed daily, its so annoying...and the mats!!!! grrrrrr...and her SKIN!! It gets so oily, we have to buy her special cleanser to keep it from breaking out!!

Sometimes when she is sad or even really happy she cries, is this normal or should I take her to the doctors?? And somedays she eats to little and the next day she eats waaaaaay too much, we are thinking of putting her on new people food. She was housebroken when we got her..thank god!!

Some nights she cant sleep and we dont know why so we get into bed and kiss her all over her face, she smiles and pets us as she drifts off to sleep. Well YTers she sure dosent meet the standard human qualities we have read about..and we wont be entering her in an beauty contests but she is our human and we love just the same!! Cant wait to see pics of YOUR humans!! We just love pics!!
