Also I want to say that you must have amazing bargaining skills. I couldn't get her to budge at all! I did tell her yesterday afternoon that I wasn't interested if she couldn't come down on the price. So she told me the price was firm and that was it. Well done on your part! I hope she isn't backing out now....

Thanks for the compliment -- I have been told that I have amazing bargaining skills already today! LOL I was talking to my prof about our final and how covering some chapters woudl not be fair

Donation sent kristy. May I ask how much you will have collected if everybody follows through? You had said you would be able to put in $400 if needed didn't you? And then $500 from rekonsmomma.... Just curious how much we still need to pitch in...

Let's donate everyone-I'm sure even $5 helps...

I'm trying to make myself feel better...Don't you think that others saw that listing and felt the same way that we did? I hope so. I really hope it was a rescue organization or something that swooped in and saved them...

Why don't we have a hugs icon? Lots and lots of hugs to you kristy and everyone else that was involved....We need a group hug....

I honestly feel like I've failed these dogs. Stewie knows I'm sad. He keeps looking at me like "what's wrong mom??!!" I hope they got a good home and just pretended to be a breeder when they got them. KP suggested that I ask who the buyer was and contact them.

Oh kristy, please don't feel that way. You can not have done anything differently. Not many people are willing to do what you did. They look at the pictures and think..oh,so sad. But you were being proactive and doing everything you possibly could. Maybe this will spawn into something of an interest for all of us and good things will come of it. Maybe we didn't help these dogs, but there are many more out there that need help. Let's try to get a rescue section for this board so that we can bring attention to dogs that we find in similar situations.

Oh Kristi! I feel soooo bad that I emailed her. I didn't know not to when I did. Earlier today she emailed me back and told me they were available still. I hope I'm not the one who messed this up! Please forgive me! BTW, I never offered her aprice or anything, just made an inquiry. I'll let you know if I hear any more from her. Again I am so sorry if I did the wrong thing! Elizabeth
