| Tink is sick She has had diarrhea since yesterday afternoon and doesn't act like she feels good at all. She had diarrhea on the floor 3 times last night in our room and this morning she got her self all messy so I put her in the tub to clean her up and she just went while I washed off her backside. How long should I let her do this before taking her to the vet? She's only been eating a little. My mom's dog had diarrhea last week too and she was around him. Do you think dogs can give eachother sick germs? |

| This has happened to Cole a couple times. I always take him to the vet right away and they put him on a Science Diet prescription food that makes him better within a day. Of course I can't recall the name of it right now. It can't hurt to have her looked at and I am sure it will make you feel better! Good luck! |

| Last time that Daisy got sick like that I took her to the vet right away, and he gave me some medicine that cleared it up within 24 hours. I would take her just incase.

| I do think dogs can make each other sick Georgie had diarrhea once and then our boxer Coco had it the next day. I would give her some boiled chicken and white rice if her stool isn't firming up by tomorrow I would take her to the vet. Hope she feels better soon. Hugs from Georgie to Tink.

| I would take her in right away - these little ones dehydrate very quickly. My good friend just lost her little Yorkie last week - he had diarrhea for two days and he passed away. I wish she would have taken him to the vet. |

| It's been a while since she's had diarrhea. If she has it again, I will take her in when my husband gets home. My vet is good about letting you come in and wait without an appt and they stay open for appts until midnight so no worries about not getting her in if she needs to. I got her to drink some water and we went outside for a few minutes and she did pee. Let's hope her tummy is starting to settle. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's yorkie! I'll be watching her very close for dehydration. |

| Poor baby Simon gets an upset tummy quite often and my vet gave me some diarhhea medicine that I keep in my fridge and that helps. At least she is drinking water. Give her lots of kisses and tell her that we hope she feels better real soon. |
