| Eeewwwwwww!!!! Last week I bought Whiskey on of those mechanical mice that runs around on the floor and goes in circles etc. and she loves it to pieces-she chases it and barks at but hauls booty when it gets too close to her paws...too funny!!! She likes to hide it between the couch cushions with just the tail sticking up. Well yesterday I saw her on the couch chewing on something and I was thinking it was her little mousie toy and when I went to take it from her and turn it on (battery operated) and saw a real MOUSE!!! She had alreasy chewed the tail off and licking the feet-it was already dead thank god....the only thing I can think off is I just mowed the grass the other day and she must have found it when she went outside for her potty break!!! Me and my dtrs were like and screaming-well I was- and my oldest dtr. got a wad of paper towels and picked it up and flushed it down the toilet. I made her wash her hands for like ten minutes with dial soap just in case.

| Ewwww! I know what you mean!! One morning (years ago!) we were at the breakfast table and my Mom got up and let the cat in not noticing that he had a mouse in his mouth. We're sitting there half-asleep drinking our coffee when we hear "crunch, crunch, crunch". We both looked down just in time to see the cat swallow the tail end!!! I can tell ya' that's not the best way to start your day! That was over 30 years ago and even if I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, I sure do remember that!

| I would have been trying to save it. My dtr had a bunch of them (I did too when I was young) and we took 2 of them to SC when we moved down there. Waldo Rufus Smudgepot, III ESQ and his trusty sidekick Harry. They were both very friendly and would sit on our shoulders and chatter in our ears. Sorry, I like furry little critters.

| I used to have a white rat when I was in college and had my first apartment-her name was Phoebe...she lived for about three years and one day when I went to feed her she had gone to sleep and never woke up again so sad....i like all furry creatures too but not dead ones on my couch and since it was wild who knows what kind of germies were on it

| I think mice are cute, but I don't want any running around in my house, they do too much damage. The cats seem to keep them all away so we really don't worry about them much. |
