Ewwww! I know what you mean!!
One morning (years ago!) we were at the breakfast table and my Mom got up and let the cat in not noticing that he had a mouse in his mouth.
We're sitting there half-asleep drinking our coffee when we hear "crunch, crunch, crunch". We both looked down just in time to see the cat swallow the tail end!!!
I can tell ya' that's not the best way to start your day! That was over 30 years ago and even if I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, I sure do remember that!
