| Hacking... My yorkie Deuce has been doing this reverse sneeze thing since a puppy which my vet said he would grow out of. We recently adopted our Chihuahua Lexi from a shelter (she was a stray) who they said was medically treated and healthy. She does this reverse sneeze thing too but worse than Deuces. Since we got her, Deuces has gotten worse. Lexi also has this gray mucus in the corner of her eye everymorning that Deuce now has too. Anyone have any insights about this??? |

| It might be that the hacking and the eye thing are not related. You might want to have both of them seen to rule out eye infection.

| Are you sure they are reverse sneezing and not coughing/hacking? Sounds an awful lot like kennel cough to me.

| Stump had this, and his Vet said it was Kennel Couch mixed with allergies (he didn't have they eye problem). And everytime we have a storm or a change in weather Stump starts his sneezing again. |

My baby also has this. Make sure you keep the extra weight off and don't let him rough house too much. But taking him to a vet and getting xrays will rule this out.
