It's almost 3 am and guess what I am doing Can't sleep, been under the weather last couple of days. My two's routine is messed up like mine. Just let them out and Maddie won't get off the patio unless I go with her. Rudy of couse had to bark at God know what. Looks like Ivan is going to be knocking on our door Fri. Thank God nothing like he did before. My mom, nephew and me had to go down to the beach earlier this evening to get my dad, because the tide was already going over the road. It was hard to believe the tide was aready that high. Rudy is over his tonsillitis an has a couple of more day of antibiotics. He has an appt. for tues to be neutered. This will be the 4th appt. He is 9 months now and thinks he is stud. He can be so loveable but then turns in to a yorkie terrorist. Maddie is always so loveable. They have such different personalities. Wouldn't trade them for the world. Well I guess I need to try to get some rest. I have rambled enough .................Cindy

| Sorry you have been ill ... glad you're are feeling better! I am an insomniac so I know the frustration of waking at 3 AM! Not much to do at that hour! I thought that nasty Ivan was done and gone!? Glad to hear that Rudy is over his tonsillitis and that he and Maddie are thriving. Isn't is strange how they develop their own little personalities just like human kids? Toto has been the absolute best decision we have ever made!

I've been known to get up in the middle of the night to write as well. Insomnia is a lot more interesting when you can mess around on the Internet and read all kinds of stuff any time.

Well, I know i will be on Y.T. at all hours of the day too soon. Oct. 4th i will be going into surgery and be down 6-8 weeks. I have already asked my husband if he will smuggle in Schatzie to the hospital so I can give her kisses but he is not going for it! Honestly I have no idea how I am going to tend to her every need (and boye do they have plenty being only a pup) when I am bed ridden. Luckily my hospital stay will only be 1-3 days so I will be home with Schatzie soon. I just have all these visuals running through my head that scare me to dickens!! I've pretty much convinced myself that if she makes a few extra potty mistakes locked up in my bedroom with me I will over look it. After all, carpet can be replaced right? These will be the longest weeks of my life and I hope Schatzie gets the care she deserves too! So, I can only hope that at 3:00 AM or so there will be other Yorkie Yakkers who can't sleep too!!

Schatzie, Your puppy will do fine with you recovering. I think they can sense when things aren't the same. They are so smart. I hope all goes well with your surgery and you have a speedy recovery. Take care...........Cindy

Thank you for your wishes. I am thinking maybe I could use this "down time" to train Schatzie to do tricks/commands. Most she could learn while in my bed. She knows sit, but working on down right now. If she'd just sit still for a moment I know she could do all these things. Her excitement over runs her!!

Shatzie, I hope that everything goes good for you and that you'll be up in no time. These babies have a way of knowing when we aren't up to snuff and they co-operate. As long as you have your baby with you in bed you won't be lonely...Theresa

Thanks so, so very much to all of you sending your wishes of a fast recovery and easing my mind in the care needed for Schatzie. Yes, we will have a lot of time to bond for sure!! And I look very forward to that! Fast Eddie, you are always so gracious again! Thanks for offering to post my pics. I truly do not have the option(s) to do so in the photo gallery forum. Why, I have not a clue! However, I will send you some and let you decide which ones you like best to post. Please do not feel you need or have to post all of them. I will let you make that choice on which ones you like best. Again, thanks so much to all. What a truly great site this is!! Schatzie's Mom - Sheryl
