| Update On Maddie's Surgery I just talked to the Vet. He said Maddie was doing very well. All blood work was great. He did say that the one hernia that was growing did have tissue pinched off and it did cut some of the blood supply off but it was just to fatty tissue so there was no problem. The other hernia closed up nicely and she has been fixed. He did say the incision was a little larger due to the fact of tissue being pinch off. Had to take out a little more fatty tissue. I get to pick her up in an hour. I'll let you know how she is doing then. I feel better. I was so sick with worry when I let there, that I would never have her again. I know that is stupid, but I think that is kind of normal with any surgery. Either it be Human or Doggie. |

| It's perfectly normal to feel that way. Believe it or not, I took a few days off when my toy poodle got spayed and when my cat got neutered............. So glad everything went well. |

| Got Maddie Home... She is a little out of it. Took her outside to potty, she fell over..(was so sad) I stood her back up and she went off and pee peed. I got out the xpen and put her bed and pee pads down just in case. I did get her to eat a little. I just give her some every few hours. I moistened her food. Her throat is bothering her because of the tube they put down her throat during surgery. At least she is eating a little. She took her pain meds good for me. She is just kicked back enjoying being babied. You can tell she hurts. She was two incisions. One is really long. Other one is smaller. She will get her stitches out in 10 days. She's back to sleep again. Vet said she would start to feel better by Sun. They had to cut into some of her muscles when removing the hernia. Poor Little Baby. Thanks for all the prayers and concerns. |

| Aaawwwww. Poor little sweetie. So glad she is back home where she can get the proper pampering she deserves. And it's a Mom's job to worry, whether their baby is getting surgery or not. It's in our job description.
