| We got Chanel when Chelsey was 5 months old. At first i thought i made the biggest mistake, because she hated the baby, which lasted for 10 days, after that, she warmed up to her and now they both over 1 year old. They love each other, play together, sleep together, cuddle up to each other, kiss each other, they do everything together. If the one cries for something, the other one will run over to her, to check what the problem is. Having two, is more work, but it's so worth it. I don't have to feel guilty for leaving the house for a few hours, because they keep each other company. I give them both the same amount of time and attention, so theres no jealousy issues at all between them. A while back, i was thinking of adding a third, but i won't do it, because i definatly don't want to upset the applecart!!

| We rescued Gage last spring when he was 6 months old and Gaby had just turned 8 years old. Although I knew Gage had to get out of the living conditions he was in, I was very worried how Gabby would react because of her age. And hubby didn't help matters too much cause he kept saying Gage couldn't stay, I had to find him another home. But when he saw that Gabby didn't mind Gage (so long as he left her alone!) and what kind of mental shape he was in, he decided to let him stay for a "trial" period - which has now lasted 17 months!!! - so Gage is here to stay and hubby absolutely loves him Yes, it is more work when you have more than one but the rewards are awesome! So, if you have a chance to get a second furbaby, I say go for it!!Best of luck to you! Suzi

| My male Artie was going on 2 yrs. old when I got my female Abigail......I Love having 2! Artie had a very bad case of "Separation Anxiety" when it came to me, getting another one it was easier/faster to Train the 2nd one and it takes no extra effort than with 1. Fortunately I took Artie with me to the Breeders @ the time to go look at her Litter......they chose each other and they are inseparably in Love, well Artie is anyway. He is still 2nd Alpha to me and treats her as if he knows that I got her specifically for him? They always get along, they never fight, they are never jealous of each other b/c they are equally spoiled rotten. They both seem to know when the other one is in trouble and w/c one needs to be scolded, in fact they tell on each other too! I think it's the best thing, he needed another dog in the house to make him humble. He used to be stubborn and not listen even when he was called by his name, he would ignore me. But she makes him work to try to impress me. I don't think there is any competition between them they both know they both belong to me! So I think if you choose wisely it can be a Blessing, if not it can also be a Dangerous Disaster too? I don't know if it would be the same if I got 2 males or 2 females, but 1 of each seems to work for me! 2 are always better than 1, IMO! Aloha and Good Luck deciding b/c Yorkie's are very addicting, just like YT! |

| Bentley was a year old when we rescued Cha Cha and they adjusted pretty quickly. The rescue told us average adjustment time is 2 weeks but they were fine within a few days. It's funny cause I never imagined in a million years that I would have 2 dogs and now we're adding a third dog to the family! I'm hoping for a smooth transition and lots of wet kisses.
