| Little Grossed out... This is really gross, but I think I got an infection from my dog. She's still being treated for a bacterial infection on her tummy due to allergies. Now I'm starting to get itchy, red and swollen skin around my eyes and some red and itchy skin around my mouth. I'm almost positive it's from rubbing Trixie's belly and touching my eyes, and kissing her belly. I feel so grossed out right now... Can you get Infections from your Dog???

| Maybe you have caught a little bit of what she's got. Then again it could be something else. Maybe she has gotten into some poison ivy and you've picked that up. You'll just have to be a little more careful...hope you both clear up. |

| You really need to get a doctor to check you out. I hope it goes away real soon. Good luck to you. |

| It's definately not poison ivy. I honestly wish it was. I'm going to the doctor to get it checked out. I just didn't realize I could pick up an infection from my dog!!! It gives me the willies...
