| Bathing with stitches??? Adrianna was spayed last Friday. She was also microchipped the same day (there is a little dried blood still on her back). She has not gotten a bath since then. She is not getting her stitches removed until next Monday. My question is for everyone....would I be allowed to give her a quick bath? She is starting to smell, I'm really concerned about the dried blood on her back, and her hair is HORRIBLE!!! What do you guys suggest???

| No baths until the stitches are out. You could wipe her back down with a wet rag though just don't get the stitches or incision area wet. |

Thanks for the advice!! I used a wet rag and some baby wipes and now Adrianna smells MUCH better. Her hair still looks a mess....but I guess I'll just have to schedule her for the Groomers ASAP after the stitches are out.
